Travel Competition - Tell us your travel story

Have you travelled with us this year and can’t wait to discover more of Europe? Join our travel competition by sharing your travel story for a chance to win a trip for two. As a bonus, all participants will receive a special discount on a future trip.

All you need to do is to write about the best part of your travel and support your writing with photos or video! Feel free to get creative with the direction of the story, but make sure to follow the article guidelines. The best pieces will be featured on our website and social media platforms.

We love receiving photos and videos from our travellers. If writing isn’t your strength, you can still enter the competition by submitting your best photos or a video. Please note that entries with articles supported by photos and/or video will be given higher consideration by our judges when selecting the final winner.

We love authentic stories and media. The use of AI is discouraged. Good luck!

How to enter the competition (3 easy options):

Article guidelines

• The length of the article should be no greater than 1,500 words.

• The article must be accompanied by photos (min.3) in high resolution or video.

• Use headings and subheadings to make sure that your text is easy to follow.

What to write about (for inspirational purposes only)

• Something that inspired you on your travels

• The best experience you had while travelling

• Your top 3 activities

• Your favourite place of interest and why. It might be one of the most breath-taking views you have ever seen. You can describe some great sightseeing locations, restaurants, cafés or bars.

Rules & conditions

• The contest is open to all travellers who have travelled with Authentic Europe AS

• You can only use your own photos or free copyright pictures

• Authentic Europe has the right to use and/or edit any submitted text, photos and/or video for marketing purposes.

• Prohibited content includes: malicious or vulgar text or images, links to third-party sites

• Entrants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the prize.

• The competition is open from January 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.

• The winner will be announced in February 2027.

The prize

The competition prize is a holiday for two to Europe on one of our Small Group guided tours. More details will be revealed later. No cash alternative will be offered.

Winner

A winner will be chosen among the entries we receive during the year in February 2027. The winner will be notified by e-mail.

• By entering this competition, you consent to feature on Authentic Europe's website and social media pages. However, there is no guarantee that your entry will be featured on our website or social media platforms.

• We have the right to publish, edit, promote or otherwise use the entries in any way we find best suitable on our social media pages and website. You warrant that you are legally entitled to grant us these rights.

• Entries submitted must be original work and must not have been entered into any other competitions. Entrants must have the copyright to the work entered. 

• By participating in this competition you allow us to use your name and your entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
