Explore the heart of Tuscany, an UNESCO World Cultural Landscape, on this full-day guided tour and taste the Tuscan flavours during a 3-course lunch and a wine tasting.
Meet your guide in Piazza del Popolo and set off onboard a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. The first stop of the day is the hilltop town of Montepulciano where you will be able to explore the narrow streets and ancient wine cellars of this car-free town. Visit the Renaissance St. Biago’s Church and admire the breath-taking view of the Tuscan hills thanks to the location of the temple.
Enjoy a traditional 3-course lunch with local wine at a renowned vineyard surrounded by more vineyards. Continue your journey to Pienza, the UNESCO World Heritage village which became the template for Renaissance towns in Europe. Pienza is also famous for the production of Pecorino cheese. Time to explore the picturesque village before heading back to Rome.
