Stonehenge, Cotswold villages & movie locations

This all day tour will take you to amazing Stonehenge, beautiful Cotswold villages and the National Trust village of Lacock, where you will see film locations from Downtown Abbey, Harry Potter and many more.

The first stop of the tour is at Stonehenge (entrance not included), entrance is reserved and the early arrival ensures you´ll enjoy Stonehenge without the crowds.

From there you will continue to the village of Castle Combe, an idyllic Cotswold village and voted the prettiest village in England. This has been a movie and historical drama film location for Stardust, Warhorse & Poirot as well as the original Dr Dolittle series.

The next stop is a photo stop at Cherhill White Horse before continuing to Avebury Stone Circle and village. You will have time to wander around the village and unlike at Stonehenge here you are able to walk up close to the stones and touch them.

The next stop will be at Silbury Hill, the largest pre-historic man-made object in Europe. Built 4800 years ago, it took longer to build than Stonehenge. Its purpose is still a great unsolved mystery.

Continue to Lacock National Trust village, an unspoilt village on the edge of the Cotswolds. It has been featured in many films including Downtown Abbey, Harry Potter and Pride & Prejudice. The stop will include time to enjoy lunch. Return to Bath at approximately 17.30 hrs.
