Lavender full day tour

This full-day guided tour by minivan will take you to the most beautiful lavender fields of Provence, in the Sault area. Discover a traditional Provencal market, visit picturesque villages, admire the Senanque Abbey and visit the lavender museum.

Meet your friendly driver/guide in Avignon, and start the day by immersing yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Provence at a traditional Provencal market. The typical stalls, filled with fresh local produce, will tickle your taste buds. Afterwards, you will drive to Sault, the "capital of lavender". Your local guide will take you on a scenic drive and you will have the opportunity to admire beautiful lavender fields on the way.

On arrival, enjoy some free time to stroll through the pretty little streets of the village and buy some unique Provencal souvenirs. After this stop, follow your guide and continue to explore the beauty of Provence and another of its renowned heritages: the picturesque Provençal villages. You'll start in Gordes, perched in the Luberon and listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Upon arrival, you will be fascinated by the spectacular viewpoint overlooking the village. Then you will go to the Sénanque Abbey, a majestic Cistercian monument, where you will contemplate other magnificent lavender fields (in flower from June 15 to July 15).

You will end the day with a visit to the Lavender Museum (entrance included) where you will learn how the essential oil is produced.
