Burgundy Wine Day Tour

Join this tour to experience the wines and history of Burgundy. Travel by minivan the Grands crus road also called the Burgundy’s Champs Elysées. Visit authentic local wineries, beautiful vineyards, and please your taste buds with 12 different wines.

Start the day with a scenic drive in a minivan through some beautiful villages of Côte de Beaune and stop at a local winery in Beaune for a tour and wine tasting with the owner. You will taste white wines such as Meursault 1er cru “Les Charmes”, Saint-Aubin or the famous grand cru Corton–Charlemagne. After some time off for lunch on your own in Beaune, you will depart in the early afternoon for a sightseeing along the Grands Crus road. You will stop in Romanée-Conti which is considered to be the most prestigious name of Burgundy and believe it or not, the most expensive wine in the world is produced here! While being in those prestigious vineyards, your guide will teach you about the “Terroir”, a French expression to describe a set of environmental factors, and the different steps to harvest the best Pinot Noir possible. Afterwards, you will go on a guided visit of Château du Clos de Vougeot and a wine tasting at a local winery near Nuits-Saint-Georges. You will return to Beaune at about 17:30 hrs after a day your taste buds will genuinely never forget.
