A walking food tour with a difference, taking in some of Edinburgh's eccentric sides!
This brunch tour visits the lower half of the Royal Mile and takes you behind the buildings to show a different side to this part of the city. You will meet local people who are enthused about Scottish food and drink and taste some of their wares.
As you walk between the stops your local guide will talk about the history of the area and at the stops, you will sample things like Scottish smoked salmon, venison, oatcakes and chutneys. You will also try some local cheeses, delicious fudge and locally produced craft gin, and Scottish whisky pared with chocolate and Scottish beer. You will be given audio headsets enabling you to walk at your own pace but still hear the guide. This tour is about experiencing new tastes and learning more about this wonderful city so you can then go out and enjoy it more on your own.
