Meet your driver/ guide and travel through London towards rural Wiltshire, and the highlands of ancient Wessex, home to the enigmatic Stonehenge. During the trip, your guide will explain and give facts about the various theories surrounding the ancient monument. There will also be time to visit the Stonehenge visitor centre.

The tour then continues to the charming Roman city of Bath. Learn about its fascinating history and see the hot springs with a constant temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius. These Aqua Sulis were created by the Romans about 2,000 years ago. This city was reinvented in the 18th century when it became a fashionable place where people wanted to be seen. Enjoy the elegant, charming squares and terraces, Roman temples and historical atmosphere. Here you will have some time for lunch (not included) at one of the local tea houses or restaurants and try the famous Sally Lunn sandwich. Enjoy the Georgian architecture that emerged 250 years ago when Bath became the social centre for high society.

After Bath, the guide will take you to the medieval village of Lacock where you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Cotswold along the way. The village of Lacock is now owned by the National Trust as it has much historical value. Admire the picturesque cottages, narrow streets, barns and 15th-century church. The setting of this historic village has been used many times as a backdrop for many films such as Cranford, Downton Abbey, Harry Potter and Pride & Prejudice.

The next and final stop is Avebury, the charming village surrounded by a huge circle of ancient stones. Here, you will get an impressive tour of these stones and learn about their history.
