Anne Frank Walking Tour

Embark on a journey following in the footsteps of Anne Frank. This walking tour takes you on a tour through Anne’s life, from the moment she moved to Amsterdam until she went into hiding. Hear the story about her life, diary and how it was published.

The tour starts at the house where Anne Frank and her family lived after fleeing from Frankfurt in 1933 to escape the nazi's. The walking tour goes through different parts of southern Amsterdam, you will stop at places of significance in Anne’s life, like her school, the bookstore where she bought her diary and the house of Miep Gies, the trusted secretary of Otto Frank who paid a significant part in hiding the family and saving her diary.

On the tour you will also be able to see more of Amsterdam South and the wonderful architecture from the 1920s and 1930s, it will provide you with a fresh perspective beyond typical tourist attractions.
